It is almost officially Summer Time and let the fun begin! First, put Gresham Sunday Parkway on your calendar for Father’s Day from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Each time I talk to the organizers (Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce) about this NEW event, someone else has joined the party….there are going to be mascots from lots of teams , etc., Cha Cha the Clown (Cha Cha mean FUN FUN in Clown), the FISH Radio , lot of great food, art for kids, demonstrations and music (I hear the Rock N Roll Fairy has committed to make an appearance) , the Japanese Garden will have some special plants for sale, a Bicycle Safety Rodeo, well there is going to be more entertainment than a circus, as much fun as the County Fair and it is all right here in the beautiful Downtown Historic Gresham . The Pit Stops or Starts however you look at it (there is no right or wrong) are Gresham City Hall, Main Street Park and the Parking Lot at Grocery Outlet.
