Last Friday, the official Fill-A- Bag bags, along with a letter and envelope were inserted into The Outlook newspapers! If you received one of these in your paper, here is a list of places that you can drop those off:

Alter Ego Salon, Balance Health & Injury Clinic, City of Gresham City Hall, Gresham Arthur Academy, Gresham Ford, Gresham Outlook, Grocery Outlet, Hoppy Brewer, Metro East Community Media, any Riverview Community Bank or MBank location, Stamp Connection, any US World Class Taekwondo location, Black Bear Diner, West Columbia Gorge Chamber and Lovett & Corzatt LLC!

If you’d like to send a check, simply put it in the addressed and stamped envelope or if you’d rather donate online, please visit SnowCap.org and click on the “Donate to Fill-A- Bag” link. And remember, SnowCap can purchase food from the Oregon Food Bank for $.05 a pound ($1 buys 20 lbs)!

A huge “Thank You” to all of our local businesses that participate in making this one of the largest food drives of the year here in East County!

And don’t forget winter is here and if you’re looking for those all weather or snow tires, now would be a great time! Here at Gresham Ford’s Quick Lane Auto and Tire Center, we have a $70 rebate on a purchase of a set of select times, another $70 ($140 in all) if you purchase them using your Quick Lane Credit Card AND, you’ll have six months interest free! Win, win and double win!! This offer is good through the end of the year, so this may also be a great Christmas gift for that college student, or hard to buy for person in your life!!

As Thanksgiving draws near, we reflect on what a great community we live in and how blessed we are to live where we do! Great things happen here and it’s because of YOU!
