Trunk or Treat in Gresham Oregon

Last year the pandemic required us to think outside the box.  Let’s just say we can credit covid for keeping us humble and improving our problem solving skills.  Having a relatively normal Halloween was high on our priority list.  Many of the staff members at the dealership love Halloween and credit it as their favorite holiday.

Last year our love for all things spooky and a need to have and share in child-like fun led us to hosting a “Trunk-or-Treat” event.  Local families and their friends drive through the parking lot at Gresham Ford.  While our Co-sponsors, the Mt. Hood Mustang Club and our employees have vehicles lined up with their trunks open and hand out candy to the “tricksters” in the cars.

It was so much fun we just had to do it again, even if we could let them walk in this year….  So on Sunday, October 31st, from 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. bring a car load of your kids and your neighbor’s kids and drive thru.   Not only will everyone get treats but it will be fun to see how everyone has decorated their cars for this event.   There will be lots of fun costumes and I think our new Big Yellow Bronco will be filled with treats also!  In addition, you can get a ticket to win a special remote control Bronco.   It surely will be on all kids Holiday Shopping lists, so we look forward to giving one away!

So please come! While I know this holiday is supposed to be about the kids, I think we, the hander outers, get the bulk of the joy from seeing all the smiling faces with some of the cutest costumes ever.   Yes – the pandemic was not fun but we learned how to have some!   So please post this on your Facebook Pages and share with all your friends!  The trunks will be full of treats!
